ABMP Observes Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 with Patriotic Fervour
18 August 2026
The Adjudicatory Board for Major Ports (ABMP) observed the Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT)-2026 Campaign from 9 to 17 August 2026, joining the nationwide celebration of the National Flag and reaffirming its commitment to the spirit of patriotism, national unity and collective participation that the campaign seeks to foster.
Pursuant to the directions of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and the Ministry of Culture, officers and staff of the ABMP were encouraged to participate actively in the campaign and to observe it in its true spirit. The initiative sought not merely to display the Tricolour, but to translate its symbolism into a shared expression of national pride and civic responsibility.
As part of the observance, the National Flag (Tiranga) was prominently displayed at the reception area of the ABMP Office throughout the campaign period. The campaign was also publicised through the official website of the ABMP, with the HGT-2026 campaign banner on the relevant sections of the website.
Officers and staff of the ABMP were further encouraged to participate in the ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ campaign and upload their photographs on the Har Ghar Tiranga Portal, thereby contributing to the wider digital outreach of the national campaign.
On this occasion, Vande Mataram and the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana, were sung by the officers and staff of the ABMP at the office. The occasion provided an opportunity for the members of the ABMP family to come together in a shared expression of national pride and to reaffirm their commitment to the values symbolised by the Tricolour—unity, honour, sacrifice and an abiding devotion to the nation..
The ABMP's participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign reflects its endeavour to ensure that national observances are marked not merely as formal occasions, but as meaningful institutional expressions of the values and ideals that bind the country together.
